OCWAP Enforcement Action Summary:
Silverado Trailers
OCWAP initiated an enforcement action against Silverado Trailers, Inc. on behalf of Sierra Club in October of 2005 concerning Silverado Trailers’ failure to monitor stormwater discharges and its failure to report monitoring results to the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality. Silverado Trailers subsequently modified its operation so that industrial materials and activities at its facility are no longer exposed to precipitation. Silverado also agreed to send $2,500 to the City of Springfield and $2,500 to the City of Eugene for use in the cities’ wash water pollution reduction program.
